Wonderful testimony, thank you and please continue with what you're doing.

I wonder if you've heard of this book?

I heard an interview with the author and downloaded an ebook of it. Fascinating and very parallel story to yours, although she may have journeyed even further down the 'spiritual not religious' path than you!

I'm sure countless will identify with and be helped by your story 🙏

that looks like a really interesting book, thank you for sharing. Yes it does look like she got a bit further down the path. I will add it to my long list of books I eventually want to read. With reading the Bible as well it’s hard to find the time!

Yes my list is also rather daunting! I'm very lucky that I can listen to audio books while I work so can get through a fair amount that way. It doesn't do for things that require close attention, but I do listen to online readings of the Holy Scriptures and then read alone so I feel I get to deepen my understanding in a way that I struggle with when just reading. Sadly my attention span has suffered commensurate with my growing reliance on technology. I am trying to reverse this by consciously reading physical books whenever possible!

that sounds like a good idea to reverse your attention span. I’ve been trying to do the same by taking a break from fb. If I’m doing anything else I can’t concentrate on audiobooks but online sermons and other discussions about faith are easier to follow. I hope I’ll get around to reading the book one day!

Love the analogy about cooking/knives! I'll remember that one.
